There are numerous ways to raise the stats of a unit, kupo.
Some things affect stats more than others, so it's better to begin with the important ones, kupo.
Let's begin by raising a unit's level, kupo.
The unit's stats will increase, and new abilities will be available for use, kupo.
Equipment will raise a unit's stats as well as grant it abilities the equipment posesses. It's very important, kupo!
What types are equipable differs for each unit, so be sure to check the equipment icons next to the unit, kupo.
Some equipment can be obtained from units, kupo!
Raising a unit's “Trust” percentage by clearing quests with said unit, or using a Trust Moogle will grant you special equipment, kupo.
There are two types of such equipment: Trust Master Reward and Super Trust Master Reward, kupo.
Super Trust Master Rewards can be obtained by using Super Trust Moogles on an unit 7★ or above, kupo.
Awakening a unit raises its rarity, kupo!
New abilities will unlock and unit stats will rise as well, kupo.
Other special enhancements can occur too.
Such as, awakening a 7★ unit to a Neo Vision will grant it a Vision Card slot, kupo!
The Awakening Materials needed vary, depending on the rarity of a unit, kupo.
Check the Awakening/Rewards screen in-game for details, kupo.
Equipping a Vision Card will raise a unit's stats and grant new abilities!
It's very important, kupo!
Vision Cards can be leveled up to 10, kupo.
Level up to unlock higher stats and new abilities, kupo!
Use the Vision Card “Metal Gigantuar's Here!” or other Vision Cards to level up, kupo!
Some cards have a maximum level of 1 and they are very strong, kupo.
Pots will directly grant units stats, kupo.

Pots can enhance a unit's HP by 900, MP by 150, and others by 65 MAX, kupo.
There are different Pots for each stat so gather all of them, kupo!
If you max out your Pots, Doors will help units go even beyond, kupo!
Doors can be traded with Red Star Quartz, kupo.
Equipping Espers enables units to bring them out during battle, kupo!
The stats on the Espers will influence the units' stats as well, kupo.
The Esper's elemental resistance and killer abilities will also protect and strengthen the units, kupo.
Two ways to strengthen your Esper is by leveling up and unlocking its skill tree, kupo!

Magicites are used to level up Espers, and they are obtained in the Chamber of Supercite, kupo.

Enemies have weakenesses, kupo!
Which of the 8 elements is it weak against?
Is it weak against physical damage or magic damage?
Use units that have Limit Bursts or abilities that can hit those weaknesses hard, kupo!
Get ready for enemy attack, kupo!
Enemy attacks will also have physical/magical damage with elemental components.
Brace units appropriately with the right equipment and buffs.
Don't forget to debuff enemies to reduce damage too, kupo.
Abilities do many things, such as attack, buff, debuff, heal and more, kupo.
Units have certain roles in a party, and their ability line-up will help you determine that, kupo.
There are two types of abilities, kupo!
Active abilities will take effect if you select it and passive abilities will take effect automatically, kupo.
Limit Burst is a unit's trump card, kupo!
The Limit Burst gauge will fill when you attack enemies, kupo.
Abilities and equipment can increase how fast the LB gauge fills up, kupo!
Chains form when two or more units' attacks hit consecutively.
The more the chain connects, the more the damage increases, kupo!
Connect attacks with the same chain type!
Abilities have alphabets on the top right, which indicate which chain type it is, kupo.
There are other ways to raise stats and strategize, kupo!
But the fun lies in figuring it out along the way.
